To apply for a part-time firefighting job, candidates must complete an application. The application can be submitted online. The applicant must be at minimum 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license. Candidates must be insured, be able communicate well and be able work well with others. The applicant must be mentally and physically fit. The background check, drug screening, physical examination, and medical exam must all be passed by applicants.

Applications for Part-Time Firefighter positions are currently being accepted by the White County Board of Commissioners. This position is not filled until full. This position requires applicants work at least 24 hours per week, to be a First Responder, as well as meet the State of GA Firefighter Training and Standards. Qualifications required
